Journal of Workplace Behavioral Health

In Spring 2005, the new and revised Journal of Workplace Behavioral Health (formerly EAQ) will make its innaugural debut. Paul Maiden, editor, in collaboration with Haworth Press, has revitalized this peer review journal with a new name and new cover which reflect changes in the industry, and encourage research submissions from a broader array of arenas. The content has expanded to a more Behavioral Health Focus and currently is attracting an international audience of researchers. In addition to the general volumes which consist of a variety of research articles, Content Issues have been developed in some of the following areas: Accreditation; The Alliance; Integration of EAP, W/L and Wellness; Labor Issues and Aging Issues. Currently this is the premier research journal in the EAP Field which has begun to expand to overlapping and related fields of interests Available with EASNA membership.

Work/Life Clearinghouse Publications

Since 1984, Work & Family Connection has been working to help employers create a supportive and effective workplace. Their Work-Life Clearinghouse includes the monthly Work & Family Newsbrief, the Trend Report, and Manager's Quarterly as well as a searchable work-life database, statistics page, the 'Most Important Work-Life Studies of the Decade" and custom research assistance. The three publications are described below in more detail:

Work and Family News Brief

a monthly 8-page digest of the top stories about new studies, best work-life practices, legislation and company experiences related to the Work/Life Field.

The Trend Report

a monthly essay packed with interviews, opinions and analysis about childcare, eldercare, health, EAPs, flexible work arrangements, wellness and much more, in a one-of-its-kind commentary.

The Manager's Quarterly

Each quarter a business case is presented to assist professionals with their most reluctant managers and supervisors. Best company pratices are highlighted and benchmark information is presented

E-Source

E-Source is the online newsletter published by EASNA representatives. This publication keeps members informed about what's going on within the organization. Readers learn about Board activities, EASNA training and other events, current news regarding guidelines for EAP standards and accreditation, and more. Available with EASNA membership.
